I have attended many Ladies retreats through the years and have encouraged people to give camp a try. Besides working at Camp He Ho Ha I have worked at the Glenrose Hospital with Handicapped kids, Pediatric wards at the Misericordia, Grey Nuns and Health Science Hospitals.
I also worked on Palliative care units in Edmonton and Winnipeg. I became a stay at home Mom with a 4 year old when we moved to Ontario and ran a daycare in my home during those 6 years.
This is a great way to help support the camp as we prepare for the upcoming camp season. If you are able to bring or willing to donate a rototiller or post hold auger or have other specific tools that may be useful to the camp, please contact our camp manager Cal Jackson by phone, 403-886-4661 or by email, [email protected] Registration for all upcoming retreats and camps will be officially opening Monday, February 15th at am. If you are registering for Family Camps and would like to book one of our cabins, they go FAST!
Camp is an investment in the lives of future generations for Christ!
There comes a point in the life of any organization that you will inevitably have to say good-bye to someone that has been an integral part of that organization for so many years.
Trevor has been pretty much everything at Pine Lake, camper, volunteer, staff member, it is this last role where he has put so much of his time and energy to the expansion of the Camp and God’s Kingdom for the past three years.
As a Board we want to say thank you to Trevor for his countless hours, hard work and dedication to the ministry of Pine Lake Christian Camp.
